The DPS STEAM Expo will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at the CSU Spur campus in north central Denver near the National Western Center complex.

The Science Fair will take place in the Vida building while other parts of the STEAM Expo will also take place across the Hydro and Terra buildings.

Driving directions

• Take I-25 to I-70 east

• Travel east on I-70 to Washington St. (exit 206)

• Turn north onto Washington St.

• Turn east onto E. 47th Ave.

• E. 47th Ave. turns into E. 46th Ave.

• Turn north onto National Western Drive

• Humane Colorado (formerly Dumb Friends League) and Temple Grandin Equine Center clients park in client parking on the west side of the Vida building.

• All other visitors and staff please follow signs for guest parking on the north side of the Vida building.

• Bus pick-ups will happen at the assigned locations at the designated times below. Plan on arriving at the bus about 10 minutes before the departure time

• Return buses will begin loading at 2:45 PM and depart CSU Spur by 3:00pm.

• Families are allowed to ride on the buses with students.

• There is no need for families to sign up in advance for transportation, but schools will need to request transportation if they would like to be added to the pickup/dropoff route

All buses will pick up and drop off students at their usual designated locations. Check back in April 2026 for the location of our transportation hubs!
