I live in Denver, close distance to Columbine, with my wife and two wonderful children (18 & 16). I have had the honor of teaching kindergarten for 13 years. Typically you can see me everyday riding my one wheel or bike to school depending on the weather. My family enjoys traveling up to the mountains to go skiing and biking when given the opportunity. I strongly believe in using the outdoors and real world to help make connections with what we are learning in the classroom. I love Kindergarten because every student comes to school with a huge sense of wonder and enthusiasm. I encourage students to keep asking questions, try new things (make mistakes) and never give up in trying to find ways to answer their questions.
