I have a passion for learning about the many languages, places, foods, customs and cultures of the world! I love to travel as much as I can, whether it’s to visit family in California or fly across the globe to learn about the peoples of countries like Malta, Malaysia, and Turkey.
I have been a teacher for more than 20 years, in Denver, and in Oakland, California before that. I have taught students to learn French and Spanish, Math and Literacy, but my favorite job is to help students learn to speak English!
When I’m not working, I love to be anywhere in nature: the mountains, the ocean, the desert, or in my own backyard garden. I also enjoy dancing, hiking, and spending time with my family, friends, and my giant cat, Lucky.
