Hi! My name is Alisse Fullerton and I’m the 2nd grade literacy teacher! This is my second year at Columbine elementary and I couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. I was born and raised in Denver and am a proud DPS alumni. Prior to joining the Columbine Crew, I was a paraprofessional at Lincoln Elementary where my love of teaching blossomed into a desire to get my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and become a teacher. I am so happy to be a part of the Columbine Community where students are leaders and experts in their own learning, belonging and caring for one another is a priority, and families and community members are treated as an integral part of the education experience. Outside of school, I love cooking exciting new recipes, curling up and watching movies with my cat Ginger, and taking care of my numerous house plants.
