I am Aaron Reynolds and I’m back here at Columbine for another year! I have been at Columbine Elementary School since 2010. I began at Columbine as an intern while working on my elementary education certification. The next year I student taught in kindergarten, then I spent a year as an aide in 4th grade and then moved to ECE 4 year olds where I was a paraprofessional while simultaneously working on my ECE licensure. Now I am happily working with the 3 year olds.

I was born and raised in a small town named Lander, which is located in north west Wyoming. I then attended and received my bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Wyoming. I traveled the world and finally moved to Denver in 2004 and worked a variety of jobs. After some reflection I found my heart was working with kids, so on to more schooling I went. I attended Metro State College and earned certifications in Elementary Education as well as Early Childhood Education. Being greeted every day by all of the Columbine students, and especially the hugs and love from my three-year-olds gives me a great smile and reminds me of my purpose to teach. The opportunity to work with these kids and families is fantastic and I couldn’t be happier being a part of the Columbine Crew.
