Heart and Hand Center provides a daily after-school program to students beginning in 2ng grade, as well as 8 weeks of programming in the summer months. The program focuses on a whole child approach by incorporating: health and wellness, academic enrichment, social emotional skill-building, creative expression, and family engagement and support into our daily programs offerings. Students are provided with a hot meal each day provided courtesy of Food Bank of the Rockies.
At Extended Learning and Community Schools (ELCS), we oversee Out of School Time (OST) programs and activities for Denver Public Schools. We currently serve 60 schools across the district and are so excited to begin offering our flagship after school program, Discovery Link, at Columbine Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year! The Discovery Link program will be available to ECE – 2nd grade students. The after school program will run from 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and on early release Thursday, will run from 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
