August is here and so are we. Ms. Claudia and myself (Ms. Annette) are back in the office. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or need any assistance.
Registration is all completed virtually, however if you need any assistance please come during our registration days 8/9, 8/10 and 8/11

Registration is an annual process of providing and updating student and family information on file, including emergency contacts, health information and more.
If you did not complete early bird registration in May you need to complete a registration for the 23/24 school year.
To register online, sign in to Parent Portal, click on “See All Apps,” then click on “Online Registration” to verify or update your student’s information. Online registration can only be completed by the parent/guardian listed in the primary household of the student record.
Lunch Application:
All students in DPS will have access to free healthy, nutritious school meals beginning in the 2023-24 school year.
All families will still need to complete a form to ensure
DPS gets full access to available federal funding

Denver Public Schools and MySchoolBucks have partnered to offer a secure online tool for families to pay anytime, anywhere for:
Families and members of all district-run school communities have the ability to pay online for early childhood education tuition, student meals, and student fees including class supplies and field trips.
Legal guardians with Parent Portal accounts can access MySchoolBucks through the Parent Portal, and nonlegal guardians, educators and community members can access MySchoolBucks by visiting MySchoolBucks.com. See detailed steps below for how to access MySchoolBucks.

Columbine uses Bloomz as a communication tool. We will send out Bloomz codes soon for all classes.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities at Columbine, chaperoning a field trip, reading with students ,helping with art projects and many more. All volunteer opportunities require a background check.
8:00-3:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
8:00-1:30 Thursdays
We will have a two-hour early release day once a week in the 23-24 school year on Thursdays. Leading Edge and Heart and Hand will be able to provide care starting at 1:30 on our early release days! Transportation and buses will all adjust to our new bell time in addition to our early release day.
