Happy Fall Break Columbine Community!
While we will miss all of your kiddos, we are all so happy to have a week to rest, reset, recharge, and connect with family and friends. I’m wishing you all a wonderful Fall Break. I hope it brings you joy and laughter. I’m endlessly grateful to this community for all that you do for our school community. Without you, we wouldn’t be crew.
Update on the Declining Enrollment Recommendation – Board Vote
You all received communication from the Superintendent on the update from the Board meeting that took place last night regarding the Declining Enrollment recommendation. The original recommendation of 10 schools was reduced to five schools, and last night the proposal included only two schools. The board voted not to approve this plan and voted to rescind the Small Schools Resolution and take the challenge of declining enrollment back to the drawing board.
Cocoa and Coats Event
Due to our chilly weather, the Cocoa and Coats event has been moved to Friday, December 2nd after school. This is a coat donation opportunity and all families are welcome to come and donate or take coats and cold winter gear as they are needed for the winter season.

The menu will change weekly and provides same-day delivery of fully cooked dinners that you can quickly reheat. Families can start pre-ordering on Nov 25th at 4pm. SupperBell will donate 20% of sales, who use promo code 22CC. Simply order online before 2pm on the day of delivery, Monday through Friday. Tues, 11/29 at 8:05-8:30am: Doughnuts & Drop-Off Come join the Outreach & Community Resources Team for doughnuts and coffee. During drop-off, parents are welcome to grab coffee and a doughnut in the lobby by the front entrance.Updated Date! Friday, Dec 2: 3:15 – 4:30pm: Cocoa & Coats/Popcorn Friday – We need volunteers! Please click here to help us! It’s getting cold outside and students & families are in need of winter coats, gloves, mittens and hats! The Outreach team is asking you to please bring clean & gently used coats, gloves, mittens and hats to the playground for donation to the event. ALL are welcome to pick out and take home any winter gear they may need. Remaining gear will be distributed to any in need who are unable to attend the event.
