Happy Friday Columbine Community,
Fall is in the air! As leaves begin to change and the temperatures lower, we are ready to welcome fall with open arms!
This Friday we were thrilled to hold our second schoolwide crew assembly to celebrate the Leadership component of our LEAP framework! So many of our cougars demonstrated leadership in classrooms, hallways, the lunchroom, and on the blacktop! We are so proud of them!
As we move into October, we are on the lookout for Empathy! Talk with your cougar about how they can show that they understand someone else’s feelings during the month of October. As our cougars grow their empathy this month, you might ask them – What happened? How do you feel? Who was hurt? How can we make it better? – when learning moments arise.
As we shared last week, this year, our Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Tuesday, October 11th and Wednesday, October 12th. Please look for sign up opportunities from your child’s teacher via Bloomz.
We have some exciting news! Columbine will be doing a Fall Fundraiser to raise funds for teacher resources, student field trips and student supports.
You will be receiving a fundraising packet today, please check your student’s backpack when he/she gets home. If you have any questions you can contact the main office.
