Thank you all so so much for coming to our Back-to-School Night last night. In addition, thank you to all who stayed for our first PTA meeting. If you missed the PTA meeting, please see the information below!
I wanted to update you all on this school year’s School Performance Framework (SPF). Historically, the district and the state each used their own measures to determine an overall school rating. The district has decided to adopt and only use the state SPF moving forward. This year, Columbine received an ‘Insufficient Score Rating’ due to our low participation rates in CMAS and smaller enrollment numbers over the last few years. This rating does not negatively impact the school. Please see this letter that gives more specific details on the SPF and implications for this year.
This year, our parent-teacher conferences will take place on Tuesday, October 11th and Wednesday, October 12th. Please look for sign up opportunities from your child’s teacher via Bloomz.
We have a new after school program coming to Columbine! If your student is interested in learning Hip Hop dancing, use this flyer to sign up and learn more!
