I was born and raised in Colorado and love living in Denver with my wonderful husband, Andrew and our dog, Cormac. We love to hike and camp in our beautiful mountains. We also spend time drinking coffee and playing cards at local shops. After finishing a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, I started working as an Affective Needs Paraprofessional at Smith Elementary in DPS. I loved being able to support and nurture students and see their growth throughout the year. In 2014, I completed a Master’s degree in Education and received my teaching licensure. I am delighted to join the Columbine team to start my third year as a 1st grade teacher. I believe that Columbine is a truly collaborative community that accepts all students and works to recognize each child’s talents. I hope to create a safe environment where students believe in themselves, encourage others and ultimately love learning.
