Hi, I’m Heidi McClellan and I’m looking forward to my 10th year as part of the Columbine Crew and my 21st year in Denver Public Schools. This is my 4th year as Senior Team Lead/ Reading Intervention Teacher. I’ve taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades prior to my coaching roles. I love supporting Columbine teachers and students. I have a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Colorado and an M.A. in School Leadership through the Ritchie Program for School Leaders at the University of Denver.
I’m originally from Montana, and consider Colorado my home, since I’ve lived here since I was 9 years old. I live in Denver with my energetic and curious 4 year old son, Soren, and our beagle, Beatrice. We like to garden, be outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.
