Producer/Director Deborah Walker has an extraordinary range of experience in Hollywood and the music and entertainment industry. As a creative producer, and marketing consultant, Deboah has worked with gospel artists such as The Rance Allen Group, Lee Williams & The Spiritual Q.C.’s, O’landa Draper and Michael and Regina Winans, etc., and has influenced the way gospel music is packaged and marketed, making the genre more upscale, glamorous and accessible to contemporary urban R&B influences. At Bellmark/Life Records, Deborah orchestrated the publicity and marketing campaigns for the success of monster record hits like Tag Team’s “Whoomp! There It Is” and “The Most Beautiful Girl In The world” by Prince. At 20th Century Fox, Deborah served as a liaison between film and television productions and publicity and marketing campaigns, producing behind the scenes documentaries, trailers and short features for programs like “Dynasty”, Paul McCartney’s “Give My Regards to Broad Street”, and profiles of prominent actors such as Paul Newman and Dolly Parton.
Deborah returned to Colorado and began a production company for a 1-hour syndicated gospel radio show, “CEC Gospel Music Mix” that has aired on KDKO, KRKS, KLDC and KCBR Radio in Denver and is streaming the one-hour radio program at www.daws2000.com.
Deborah’s professional production experience and passion for helping youth in the Denver community lead her to earn her Master’s Degree from the University of Phoenix, while working with Denver Public Schools’ Community & Family Liaison.
For the past 10 years working with DPS has opened up great opportunities to use her creative and highly skilled training to impact the low income educational community in Montbello. She is known for her energetic approach and her calming demeanor. Co-workers respect her no-nonsense approach and her get-it-done competence.
If Deborah Walker is handling it, it’s a done deal.
